On the Tributes pages with the subtitles,

'Stilled Barks' and ' Silenced Thunder' ,

are photos and write-ups of the members of our all-encompassing family that have passed on.  The happiness that each and every individual brought us is a treasure in itself, beyond description.

Whether with us for hours, weeks, or years, we feel blessed to have been the ones chosen to share their life on earth.  In honor of the beloved souls that have gone before us, we hope that you will enjoy our pictures, stories and writings.

                   The Rainbow Bridge

There is a Bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.  It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.  Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills, and valleys with lush green grass.

When an animal dies, it goes to this place.  There is always good food and water and warm spring weather.  The old and frail are youthful and spry again.  Those who are maimed are made whole again.  The young are doted on and spoiled by all.

Wild and tame all cheerfully play with each other.

There is only one thing missing.  They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth.  So, each day they run and play until the day comes when One suddenly stops playing and looks up!  Their nose twitches! Their ears stand up!  Their eyes stare, and then SHINE!  The One suddenly leaves the group.

You see YOU have been seen, and when you and your special friend(s) meet, you take them into your arms and embrace.  Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting loved one(s).

THEN you cross the Rainbow Bridge TOGETHER,

NEVER to be separated again.
